Apparently you can do a safe shutdown by holding the button for three seconds. Rebooted using the button on the front of the 653D NAS. ![]() I do not want to risk my data with a hard reboot.ĮDIT - I've also just tried the following but the problem persists I have not rebooted the NAS for the simple reason that I cannot connect to it to shut it down safely. Can someone point me to the solution? I've tried rebooting the switch and using a different MacBook. I've included some screen shots to illustrate the problem. But there is an orange exclamation point in the status column and attempts to connect fail followed by the NAS disappearing from Qfinder on subsequent scans. All of the devices seem to be acquiring new IP addresses over DHCP and on an initial scan Qfinder sees the NAS. However, after relocating all of the above gear to a new location I have not been able to successfully connect and I cannot figure out what is the problem. Everything was working fine and I was able to connect to the NAS successfully over the network. That switch has one port leading to the internet and another port connected to a MacBook running Qfinder Pro. When I look at that show in iOS Podcasts it looks like the show has been unsubscribed or the show is deleted. This issue is driving me nuts and make using iTunes/Podcasts a very unpleasant and time consuming experience.Note, I thought I had fixed the problem by not copying the Itunes l file from one Mac to another but this issue with staying subscribed to podcasts is still occurring several times a week.I have a Qnap NAS connected to Qnap QSW-M2108-2C managed switch. When I select one of the duplicates and click subscribe the selected, duplicate show will disappear and when I try subscribing to the remaining show the subscribe button doesn't do anything. The issue I am still having is that I regularly find, in the iTunes Podcast view, duplicate podcast shows and when I select them in iTunes the subscribe/unsubscribe button on the lower right indicates I'm not subscribed to either of the duplicates. Something very wrong with podcasts subscriptions There is something very wrong with the syncing interaction between iTunes and the iOS Podcasts app relative to podcast subscriptions. But to no avail. My question:Should the manual deletion of episodes be synced, and if so, what may be the issue I encounter (taking into account that all other "sync" features seem to work)? If it is is normal behaviour for manual deletion not to be propagated, is there an alternative to clean-up unwanted episodes in such a way that it syncs between devices? My software is all up-to-date: MacOS 10.14, iTunes 12.9, iOS 12.0Thanks a lot for your help! 636 3 To be clear, when I manually delete an episode, I swipe right-to-left in Podcast for iOS, or use the delete key in Podcast for macOS.I've tried manually syncing all I could, on the phone, the computer, and back. It kinda works: when I subscribe to a new podcast on one device, it subscribes to it on other devices too when an episode is played somewhere, it disappears on all devices when I change podcast settings somewhere (play order), it syncs everywhere within seconds. However, when I manually delete an episode on one device, it is NOT deleted on other devices. How to delete a podcast episode on one device so that it is removed everywhere with sync? I've set up Apple Podcast to sync between my two computers and my phone.
